We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Active Sourcing Specialist to join our ambitious international dream team and help us drive top talent to our company via innovative candidate attraction strategies.



What will you do?

  • You are well versed in using innovative sourcing channels to identify potential candidates
  • You reach potential candidates through a professional and targeted direct approach (personalized, fast, focused)
  • You screen potential candidates with the initial screening call and you are a great motivator with a positive attitude and a winning personality
  • You are a professional sparring partner for hiring managers and/or the responsible HRBPs throughout the whole recruitment process and work closely with them to identify the needs of each position
  • You build sustainable networks and relationships (via Internet platforms, peers and internal referrals, events) to identify potential candidates
  • You strive to develop new ways of addressing candidates: film and video, social media, mobile / apps, chats
  • You stay current on external recruiting and hiring trends to influence sourcing, candidate selection, and company targeting
  • You build a long-term pool of talent while complying with legal requirements and keep the internal databases up to date
  • On top you will support Employer Branding initiatives, eg. company and college fairs, meet ups or similar events


Requirements

What are we looking for? 

  • Degree in human resources management, business, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years working experience, with significant experience as an in direct addressing of candidates for various functions, ideally in the e-commerce environment in a multi-national (technology) company or e-tailer
  • Solid experience in research / active sourcing (routine use of research tools or databases, such as Xing, Linked-In)
  • Winning personality with a strong customer and service orientation; you have the talent to inspire people
  • Creative personality, and adaptive, when positioning zooplus and roles in both verbal and written situations
  • Familiar with the work in an enterprise set up, but you also enjoy an agile and dynamic environment
  • Self-starter and hands-on
  • fluently in English and German
