Chapter Lead Quality Assurance (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Chapter Lead Quality Assurance who will successfully harmonize the portfolio of Quality Assurance tools at zooplus. Leading an amazing international team, you will encourage the overall vision of the project by being the main driver for both automation & people development. The results of your work will influence major business decisions and get all the product teams on board. Are you willing to take on this exciting challenge?

As a Chapter Lead Quality Assurance, you will:

  • Have disciplinary leadership responsibility of the QA Chapter.
  • Lead QA-related initiative process to improve and consolidate the software quality standards.
  • Support team members in their growth e.g., on how to best support their teams instead of owning quality.
  • Take proactive steps in managing QA-related issues.
  • Support QA engineers with initiatives that require the involvement of several development teams.
  • Ensure with QA engineers that software quality is transparent and measurable to all stakeholders via dashboards.
  • Closely cooperate with IT Management.
  • Recruit QA Software Engineers.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of quality-related defects.


  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of programming and QA strategies.
  • Sound understanding of business domains and company goals.
  • Intercultural and open mindset with strong social skills.
  • Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
