Our Sales, Pricing, and Market team have focused heavily on building expertise and worked on defining how to best continue developing ourselves to ensure that we are facilitating fast growth across new and existing markets. We are now searching for a Head of Promotions and Incentives to take ownership of our eight-figure budget across Europe.

As the Head of Promotions and Incentives, you will own the strategy and drive the execution of discounts, shipping terms, and special deals. Incentives are a significant part of our customer investments and can be in the form of specific campaigns, product promotions, coupons, discounts, and the like. Therefore, we are looking for someone analytical with solid experience managing and building successful teams and a proven track record of creating an impact.


What you’ll be doing

  • Managing a team of 4 project managers for promotions and incentives, with the aim of building and scaling the team further and consolidating processes and best practices across the organization
  • Managing the interlinkages between different types of incentives, campaigns, product promotions, coupons, discounts, and the like
  • Managing a wide range of Europe-wide incentive usage strategies and adapting them to country-specific needs
  • Defining the optimal omnichannel (desktop, mobile, app) strategy for different incentives.
  • Establish, manage and optimize an evaluation framework, defining incentive usage targets and performance KPIs to maximize efficiency
  • Forecasting and long-term planning/modeling of incentive investments and their impact on the P&L
  • Optimization of incentives based on competitor actions and campaigns
  • Optimizing the combinability rules and liaising with product development teams on overall incentives roadmaps in alignment with business needs
  • Coordinating with other teams to optimize how incentives should be communicated within sales and marketing teams

Requirements

  • 10+ years of analytical work within e-commerce, related to pricing, promotional efficiency, incentives, or revenue management
  • Extensive B2C experience
  • Experience managing and scaling cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in forecasting, financial planning & budget allocation
  • Strong track record of high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
  • Ability to navigate data and leverage analytics to make decisions
  • Possess a talent for responding effectively to market direction, customer needs, and competitive positioning
  • Tech savvy and experienced with online analytic tools
  • Ability to own projects, work independently to get things done, and ask for guidance when needed
  • Fluent in English
