IT Program Manager Initiatives

Job description


We are looking for an IT Program Manager Initiatives to help define and manage scope, budget, timelines, and quality, with full responsibility in implementing large and small-scale projects.


Our goal is to support all business processes and functions by managing different IT software Initiatives while partnering with our teams across Europe.

If you enjoy managing projects, coordinating cross-domain stakeholders while supporting the Area Product owners, and Leading the projects team - then you are exactly the person we are looking for.


Responsibilities


  • Be responsible for the day to day management of large projects  defining and managing scope, budget, timelines, and quality,
  • Maintain project plans, anticipates, mitigates, and handles project risks, and ensures project timelines
  • Lead project team consisting of cross-area, cross-domain virtual groups and directly supervises staff
  • Support the Area Product Owners to manage their backlogs and guide the teams in balancing the priorities and scope
  • Being the interface between internal pan-European focus groups and external service providers for successful project execution,
  • Supervision and coordination of multiple project members on all project steps such as deliverable definition, documentation, identification of dependencies, weekly status updates, risk assessments,
  • Independent preparation and organization of project meetings and reporting on project progress and KPIs to key stakeholders and executives
  • Leading the implementation using Agile principles and methodologies and ensuring its further development and acceptance

Requirements

  • Relevant related experience of 8 years in managing IT Software projects or ERPs implementations preferably in the Retail industry
  • Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams, and in project coordination in Consulting or Product companies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, combined with IT affinity as well as system and process thinking
  • Strong organizational and communication skills that will allow you to bring clarity amidst ambiguity through critical thinking
  • Independent, self-reliant, and solution-oriented way of working
