(Junior) Manager Fulfillment Projects and Analytics (f/m/d)

Job description

In order to be able to supply our customers across Europe quickly and in accordance with our quality standards, our European distribution centers are an integral part of the zooplus network. In this role, the (Junior) Manager Fulfillment Projects and Analytics (f/m/d) is driving projects to improve customer experience, performance, quality and cost. Also being responsible for coordinating the cross-fuctional teams, identifying risks and ensuring the in-time delivery of the project in accordance with the project goals. The constant growth of the Fulfillment Network requires permanent review of processes, standards as well as further development of KPI systems. 


  • Leading cross-departmental projects
  • Responsible for new EDC launches
  • Analyzing service levels and continuous improvement of warehouse processes and cost in cooperation with the logistics service providers and EDC managers
  • Implementing systems to improve cross-functional communication and knowledge sharing
  • Close cooperation with all EDC managers, IT Development, Supply Chain and Transportation Team
  • Contributing in the development of new processes and standards and implementing them
  • Further developing a project management office for fulfillment team and following-up on prioritized projects statuses of respective projects
  • Develop KPI systems, metrics decks and dashboards to monitor the performance of our service provider
  • Developing and implementing restructuring projects
  • Direct reporting to Senior Manager Projects and Analytics


Requirements

  • Degree in economics or engeneering with logistics/ SCM specialization or comparable education
  • Methodological competence in the area of process management 
  • First working experience in multinational 3rd party logistics on provider and/or customer side (e-commerce/ B2C preferred) 
  • Analytical, process oriented and data driven (Excel must be, Access)
  • Hands on mentality
  • High mobility, willing to travel 
  • Strong in the areas of planning and organizing and good knowledge from the standard MS Office programs 
  • Certification in Project Management or Lean Management / SixSigma is an advantage
  • Excellent in English and German language spoken & written; additional languages preferable
