Our world class Product team is responsible for ensuring that our customer’s journey is seamless across all of our platforms and designed and executed to high standards. The teams are currently split across our offices in Munich, Madrid, Krakow and Vienna.

The Pricing assures that our pricing platform drives our complex business model while creating world class technology for the marketplace and platform users. You will collaborate with highly skilled engineers, business experts and others in a fast moving, multi-disciplinary environment. Above all, you will have a hand on building the next level platform for the online pet-supply industry.

What you will do

• Leading a diverse team of Product Owners and support team members in taking their personal as well as professional development to the next level
• Identifying and filling product area gaps and generating new ideas that grow our market share, improve the customer experience and drive growth
• Shaping the product area strategy, translating them into KPIs and define goals
• Working closely with experienced senior software engineering or business stakeholders to drive product launches successfully
• Keeping the team focused and excited to continually make zooplus as a business more efficient by connecting the work they do to our larger mission
• Building alignment/awareness across product/engineering teams, leadership teams, and other stakeholders across the organization

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience of product management experience required in technology or e-commerce environment preferred
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies with the ability to synthesize information, apply critical thought, and present the information in a clear and meaningful way
• You have an entrepreneurial mind-set with a real hands-on approach
• Knowledgeable and experienced in implementation of complex pricing solutions/Products
• Knowledgeable in working with Global Pricing Models, Pricing Workflows and Dynamic Pricing Optimization systems is a plus (e.g. Periscope, Pricefx, PROS, Vendavo, Zilliant, etc.)
• Ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Solid understanding of agile product development principles
• Ability to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams from other product areas
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills (English mandatory)
