Job description

We are looking for a Online Marketing Manager Denmark / Norway (f/m/d) to join our passionate and motivated Nordic Sales and Marketing team in Munich and contribute to our continuing success in the Danish/ Norwegian markets.

If you accept the mission, your goal is to help zooplus grow locally by managing our different online marketing channels in a profitable, efficient and customer centric manner and by that build the foundation for sustainable long-term customer relationships. All in accordance to our business principle: Put the customer in the center of everything we do.

In this role you will report to the Nordic Online Marketing Team Lead and work closely with various internal and external partners.

To succeed in this position, you should be target oriented, numbers driven, actively seek new growth opportunities and have a genuine interest for the latest industry developments. Coordinating projects aiming at an optimized customer journey and channel efficiency will also be an important part of this position.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Continuous development of all online marketing activities based on new trends and technological developments
  • Planning and developing new SEA campaigns (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising) as well as ongoing, data-driven optimization of existing SEA activities in accordance to central guidelines
  • Conducting keyword research, optimizing keywords and advertising copy tailored to the local markets
  • Selecting and optimizing relevant landing pages, as well as active A/B testing and evaluation
  • Developing our SEO presence in the shop and magazine, as well as ongoing content optimization based on SEO criteria
  • Handling and optimizing our presence on price comparison websites, including feed management
  • Managing affiliate partnerships and acquiring new affiliates. Concepting and executing exclusive affiliate campaigns and other promotions for affiliates
  • Autonomous reporting of performance data for all channels, as well as the drafting and presentation of results
  • Exploring and identifying new strategic collaborations and traffic sources.
  • Close collaboration with the central online marketing team, as well as local neighboring teams (e.g. direct marketing, shop, pricing) to streamline initiatives towards the performance and sales targets


  • University degree in Economics or similar academic degree
  • Business fluent in Danish or Norwegian, fluent in German or English
  • Profound online marketing knowledge, preferably with relevant work experience
  • Professional dealing with Excel and advanced use of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Web Analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics)
  • High affinity for technical interrelations and state of the art knowledge about new developments in the areas of online marketing, social media, e-commerce & web technologies
  • High analytical and conceptional competence. Joy in handling large amounts of data and feeling comfortable around numbers
  • Problem-solving mindset and result-oriented way of working
  • Basic knowledge in project management
