We're looking for a motivated Product Owner (m/f/d) who is up for the challenge and opportunity to work with us in the accounting domain, and have a direct influence on our success.

We are constantly developing custom software or integrating of the shelf solutions in our rich and diverse environment. As Product Owner and together with your team of Software Engineers, you will be able to shape the product visions and work towards keeping our processes and application compliant.

What You will do:

• Own the vision and roadmap of your part of the product.
• Communicate your vision, roadmap and progress to key stakeholders
• Collaborate with the development teams to refine requirements and write user stories, review bugs, manage sprints and releases
• Own the data and process integration of existing systems
• Objectively assess situations or circumstances to lay out your argument in a well-structured and data-informed way.
• Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of the business process
• Serve as the business expert in the design, development, and implementation of the business systems that support the accounting processes
• Create an inclusive team environment, while challenging and inspiring your team to perform at their sustainable peak.

• You have already gained various insights into product topics in the past and enjoy taking responsibility – ideally in an ecommerce environment
• You have analytical, structure and solution-oriented work ethic
• You can professionally communicate in English (German is a plus) and are able to break down complex problems into comprehensive pieces
• You impress with your positive attitude, act as a motivator and convince with your “can do” mentality
• You gather insights from business users and you are able to define milestones, set expectations with stakeholders for the delivery of new capabilities while identifying opportunities and risks on the way
• You are a team player with proven ability to work cross-functionally
• You act confident in situations of ambiguity and uncertainty
• You love to inspire engineering teams
