SAP BI Inhouse Consultant (f/m/d)

Job description

As member of the local and distributed SAP BI Team, you need to be an experienced and inspiring specialist in the dimension of technology and analytics. You will work in a team of talents with diversity in experience, background, culture and locations.

As a Inhouse Consultant you will discuss, consult and align reporting requirements and implement reports and dataflows based on several data sources like SAP BW, Oracle, AWS Athena etc. with BusinessObjects Analysis for Office and SAP BW/HANA. You must embrace transparency and simple access to data in an SAP and non-SAP environment. If you enjoy developing creative solutions, are fascinated by technology and want to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment - then you are exactly the person we are looking for.

What you can expect:

  • Provide consultancy to different business departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Procurement, etc.)
  • Support on definition of reporting requirements
  • Design and implement (SAP BW and BusinessObjects Analysis for Office) solutions and enhancements based on defined business requirements, keeping aligned timelines
  • Support of Management and Board with analysis results
  • Ad hoc analyses using SQL queries
  • Provide technical input to ETL developers and data architects, as well as analyze existing data flows and perform minor developments
  • Provide assistance in system maintenance and data loads
  • Monitor reporting schedules and take care of the 1rst level support for BI solutions
  • Identify potential for performance enhancements and consolidations


We need your expertise:

  • Master or bachelor degree with a focus on business informatics or comparable
  • At least 1-3 years relevant experience in BI and Reporting or similar background with basic or trained experience with SAP BW, Business Objects and HANA
  • Analytical thinking, structured, proactive and target-oriented action as well as strength in implementation
  • Very good understanding of business-related processes and associated KPIs
  • Good SQL knowledge and high-quality standards to oneself
  • Passionate in working with data and handling large amounts of data
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to work in a team
  • High level of commitment and reliability
  • Passion for user experience and design
  • Experience in an agile development environment desirable
  • Willingness to travel on business to the zooplus locations
  • Very good English and preferably German
