Senior Controller for Marketing (m/f/d)

Based in our Munich headquarters, we are looking for a strong candidate to support our fast-growing business as a Marketing department Finance business partner.

In this role, you will support the commercial agenda where the company is investing significantly more into marketing and we want you to help transform the business impact of these investments by ensuring we deliver the growth and ROI. You will report directly to the Global FP&A Vice President.

Your tasks include among others:

  • · Bring pre & post ROI analysis on marketing spend related and deliver insights for our management and business stakeholders
  • Review key marketing plans with your marketing partners, ensuring the right activities are being executed based on learnings to drive business objectives & ROI
  • Ensure proper governance is in place in the marketing area – processes are in place, and correct spend accounted for ensuring IFRS compliance
  • Support annual financial planning processes and in-year forecasts, including deviation analysis by working with your marketing and finance colleagues
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to support the day-to-day running of the business
  • · Support your FP&A colleagues on larger agenda items to drive the company forward


What we expect from you

  • Successfully completed business studies, ideally with a focus on finance / controlling
  • You’ve already completed your first professional experience in finance of an international company (preferably focusing on the Marketing department)
  • Very good knowledge in the use of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in the use of business intelligence systems (e.g. SAP BW & Tableau)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English – German is helpful but not mandatory
  • Structured way of working as well as a data driven mindset
  • Strong communication skills and be comfortable working with various stakeholders including the management and supervisory board
