Job description

The Team Lead - Sales Analytics is coordinating a small team of Business Analysts assigned to the sales director and the country heads of their designated sales region.

In this role, you will help as well sales leadership make data-driven decisions based on their proactive findings, and dig deep into the vast datasets in order to identify undiscovered sales potential for each country within their region.

As Team Lead - Sales Analytics you will coordinate your team and develop ownership of designated analytical projects, presenting and documenting their findings with their key stakeholders and the wider analytical community within zooplus.

When needed, you will be involved in upskilling other analysts and creating or enhancing analytical concepts for the local sales & marketing.


  • Acting as a Team Lead in coordinating tasks among the team, being responsible of the team’s performance and further development
  • Strategically aligning with Stakeholders across Europe
  • Acting as Business Analyst for your designated region DACH, France, Belgium, and Nordics
  • Digging deep into country-specific datasets to mine for insights regarding performance trends and sales potential
  • As Business Analyst recommend actions to key stakeholders based on your findings. Work together with other analysts in your department shaping and drive your stakeholder’s data-driven decisions
  • Being the specialist of transactional data and our corporate data model within the Digital Analytics & Commercial Insights department



  • University degree in (business) mathematics, statistics, computer science, or business administration with an analytical focus
  • Previous strong experience as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar roles
  • A Strong experience in a marketing, sales analytics, business intelligence, or retail environment with an analytical focus
  • Initially leading or people coordinating experience would be welcome.
  • Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Advanced analytical understanding and critically thinking mindset
  • Knowledge or experience using Tableau, Power BI or similar tools would  be a plus
  • Good knowledge of statistical methods and statistical program packages (Python, R or SAS)
  • Strong understanding of marketing & sales, ideally in e-commerce, and its KPIs
